Dante SWANSON: "Our task in EuroChallenge- go to the next round"

1. What can you say about game with ‘Dnipro’?

I think we had a good game. In previous matches for us were the usual bad start, without the proper mood. But this time we started the game very actively, especially in defense.Iin a half of  duel the rival could get just over 30 points, it was a good result. That's how we tried to play all the time, but it failed to do just the end game. But in general, as for me, we played well.

2. What can you say about your play in this game?

I think I played well. Probably could have a little better and play at the end of the match, but I did everything I did.

3 . We heard that you had a small injury before last game…

I hope that this is not something serious. I feel pain in my back, but as you can see, it does not hurt me much to work actively in the game with "Dnipro". It seems to me that I was moving well in the last match. So I hope that everything will be fine in a future.

4. In this season you wore a Captain armband…How you feel in this role?

I feel comfortable. I know the players. Although we have several new Americans this season, olso left most of the ukrainians. They all know me, my personality, they know what I always focuses on active and aggressive game, aimed at winning. I do not like a lot of talk out of site, but I completely devoted team during the game, so I think that being a captain for me is not difficult.

5. What can you say about this year's composition "Goverla"?

I think we are pretty similar to last year's "Goverla." The last three matches we lost, but I think that some of them we deserved to finish with victory. If we played like in the game with "Dnipro", we would not have lost the previous games. I think that we play just as good as last season, but know that we can even better.

6. Share experiences of collaboration with Marcus Walker, you both play in one position ...

You can see how fast Marcus. When we both are on the ground, then I think we are the fastest back line in the Superleague. We do not use our speed to the full extent, we do not show a lot of fast break, but is still ahead. But when we do, we are a big problem for the opponent.

7. What is the mood in the team before Eurochallenge games?

We are all in a pleasant anticipation. It's nice that there is an opportunity to play outside the country, show yourself to check what able to. We feel a great responsibility. I hope that players will not play for themselves, becouse the main thing here play command. But again, we all look forward to these games.

8. How many information you and other guys knows about of future European opponents?

We have a little information. I'm sure before these matches the coach will tell us information about competitors, their main players, the style of play. For today we was focused on the Superleague.

9. Who of teams you think is favorite of the group?

Not yet, I even have no idea with which commands, style and strength we will play. I still do not know that there guys playing.

10. What task you have received from the club management in Eurochallenge?

Our first task - to get to the next round of competition. Now it is our common goal - to leave the group.

11. What do you know about "Prosteyov"?

Even on the nearest opponent I know very little. Just today we begin to study about the Czech team. We will analyze their game, key performers, learn combinations. We still have enough time to prepare for this game.
